DECORATIVE ACCENT RUGS - BELGIUM
First, a word about these Belgian rugs…they are beautiful to see, feel and use. Highly ‘consumer friendly' and here's why:
- The surfaces are all washable. We recommend “surface shampoo” care. There is no dry cleaning needed. They're colorfast and can be spot cleaned.
- All have a patented “Safe-T-Back”: non slip dots engage and hold onto wood, tile, flooring surfaces when you walk on them. With no surface pressure, they are easily moved and don't actually stick to the floor, just hold on when walked on.
- The padding is attached. Between the non-slip dots and the rug fibers is a felt pad bonded in between. No additional rug pad is needed!
- They have an “UNDER DOOR” profile. The over locking weave design keeps the fibers angled, so they work wonderfully under doors. A real problem solver!
- All have over locking surface fibers, so no dirt or debris penetrates below. This prevents odor, bacterial build up since there isn't any dirt down deep in the pile.
- The fibers are bonded to the backing. This rug will never unravel or shed or come apart. The corners will not loosen and allow the fibers to fall out, which is common with many silky fiber rugs. Here's the test: rake your fingernails across the surface of a viscose rug and see what happens – fibers come loose and it starts to shed. Happens to many wool rugs, too. Won't happen on these Belgian rugs due to the bonding. This non-shed product is healthier, too – no floating irritants in the air for all you allergy sufferers.
- They are ideal for high traffic areas. Since the fibers are secure and the backing is bonded and the surface is washable - they hold up.

The AMARANTE Collection - A Wool mark label product, the super fine gauge wool yarn used in Amarante is exclusively and tonal dying process weaves into a spectacular, soft, elegant look. Still surface washable, just as the other collections, it is deceptively durable.

The MONACO Collection – soft, brushed cotton surface, fine white cotton accents incorporated with silky viscose thread in the detail. It's one of the most unusual surface fiber combinations offered and the suede feel and look of the background is a compliment to any wood floor. Also surface washable and durable.
